Once you have downloaded a font, you must assign a Select Graph-

ics Rendition (SGR) number to the font. This SGR number will be

used by the SGR escape sequence to select a font for printing.

The following SGR numbers are automatically assigned when you

turn on the printer:

0 Assign SGR number in

to the font ID string.

1 Assign SGR number in

to the font ID string.

2 Assign SGR number in

to the type family ID

string.

SGR number. (Range = 10 to 19)

ID String If

is 0 or 1, this is the first 16 bytes of the 31-byte

download font descriptor. If

is 2, this is the first 7

bytes (the type family ID) of the download font

descriptor.
